DR MANHATTAN'S FEATS AND POWERS

 About Dr Manhattan;

Dr. Jon Osterman, also known as Dr. Manhattan, is one of the major characters from the DC Comics.

Doctor Manhattan(Dr. Manhattan) or simply Manhattan , is a fictional character who appears in comics published by

DC Comics. He is not considered a superhero. He debuted in the graphic novel limited series

Watchmen , published in 1986 and 1987. Doctor Manhattan was created by writer Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbons.

Doctor Manhattan was the only being with actual superpowers in the world of Watchmen and as a result was the most powerful character in that universe. Since that series, there have been some additional stories that sprung from that universe and then DC Comics added the entire world of the Watchmen into the mainstream DC Universe and it was all because of Doctor Manhattan. It all started in the Flash and Batman crossover event The Button, which ended with Doctor Manhattan's debut appearance in the mainstream DC Universe and then continued in Doomsday Clock, which tied Watchmen into the DC Comics world.

Some of Dr Manhattan's abilities and weakness;

Dr Manhattan has partially no weaknesses and has universal levels of power.

He is also able to move at 87 quadrillions times the speed of light, warp time, space, and reality.

He can sense the past, present and future.

He is not limited in any way physical or otherwise (he is an entity much like god)

He can manipulate matter to his will (meaning if he wanted he could snap the entire universe or even create a few)

He has no weakness or fatigue at any point so he can keep bashing others for decades (apart from tachions but they only effect his time vision)

There is actually no way to retain him or get control over his location because he can teleport to wherever he chooses

He alters size

He has godlike Strength

Teleportation of himself or other individuals over incredible distances

Matter Manipulation/Atomic Structure Control – limits unknown. Has been shown to be able to do things like: create crystalline structures on Mars, create a small amount of water, melt a portion of a tank. It was also stated he possibly could have turned a gun to steam, bullets to mercury, and a bottle to snowflakes by an angry Blake, though he is never actually shown doing these things.

Can create copies of himself which act independently of each other, but operate in an intelligent collective fashion.

Intangibility

Atemporal (in terms of his perception of time).

Does not appear to age.

Does not seem to require food, water, or air.

Creation of Environmental Fields – as seen when he creates a field around Laurie, allowing her to survive on Mars.

Can read atoms and sense tachyons

Telekinesis

Able to restructure himself after the removal of his intrinsic field.

Disintegration/Intrinsic Field removal – It is unclear whether he is disintegrating his targets or removing their intrinsic field. It should be noted that he does seem to need to aim his hand at the intended target.
